The United States,with offset tactics, played a greatest role in freeing Africa from the clutch of colonisation, leading to the formation of the states of liberty. Africa had become the place of struggles at a point of time,when other parts of the world, liberated from the coil of colonial rulers. The struggles consumed the vital air.
The struggles in Sudan , Mollen Emir episode and Samosi's resistance, were marked in the history.In west Africa, the youth movement of Nigeria,comprising Yoruba middle class, demanded the change of the policy of colonial regimes.The Pan African Congress of 1945, was a national movement. The southern Nigerian nationalism ,and in North Africa,the stirring movements in Algeria and Tunisia,became the scenarios of uprisal. It was the time of dark days of Africa,constituting the absence of barking corruption,lacking the basic constitution,preferred by the native people of the continent. The British went for constitutional reforms in west Africa. These were the struggles ,before they got the essence of constitution. Angola ,Mozambique and Guinea were struggles stricken. Africa was devoid of civil rights .In 1961,the uprising in Angola ,the union of Angolan people under Roberto Holden ,carried importance. Africa has its own history.
The present Africa has become the matter of study,because , the struggles are getting surfaced in the parts of Africa.
